NMIC's Intern & Earn program is a 12-week PAID work experience program for young adults between the ages of 17 and 24. Participants receive instruction in employment readiness, life skills, healthy living and relationships, financial literacy and post-secondary educational opportunities.

After an intense, three week orientation, participants are placed into worksites through New York City where they receive on-the-job training from professionals. In addition, participants attend ongoing employment readiness workshops and attend field trips to learn more about career opportunities and how to find and keep a job. Case management and other wrap around services support participants' progress while in programming, and follow-up services are provided for nine months upon completion.
